Sola Bio – an option for those who want to contribute to reducing climate impact
How does it work?
With Sola Bio, biofuel is included corresponding to your share of the flight consumption – the fuel, which is refueled at an airport in Europe within 12 months, emits approximately 80 percent less fossil carbon dioxide than the fossil fuel it replaces. Sola Bio reduces the total use of fossil aviation fuel and thus contributes to the transition of aviation. The more people who choose Sola Bio, the greater the effect.
The calculation is based on an average flight and applies, for example:
- 60 min within Sweden, Norway or Scandinavia
- 35 min domestically in Denmark
- 1 hour and 30 minutes within Europe
